What the project involves
A single-zone ductless mini-split pairs one outdoor heat pump with one indoor head to heat and cool a room, addition or shop without ductwork. Installed prices are fixed packages — Good, Better and Best equipment tiers from IDB HVAC Solutions — with adders only for things like a new circuit, a condensate pump or a rooftop unit.
Because these are package prices, the calculator asks about the space, the mount style, drainage, the electrical circuit and the home's height, then shows the three packages that fit.
