By project type
Kitchen Remodel
A kitchen remodel replaces the surfaces and systems you touch every day — cabinets, counters, flooring, lighting, plumbing and electrical — and, when the layout changes, the walls and structure around them. Most of our kitchens are mid-size rooms where the sink, range and refrigerator move a little or not at all; the cost climbs fastest when walls come out or plumbing crosses the room.
Bathroom Remodel
A bathroom remodel ranges from a like-for-like refresh of a hall bath to a primary suite with a curbless shower, freestanding tub and heated floors. Tile labor, waterproofing and plumbing relocation drive most of the difference; the fixtures themselves are a smaller share than people expect.
Home Addition
A home addition adds finished square footage to your house — a primary suite, a larger kitchen and family room, or a second story. It is new construction attached to an old one: foundation, framing, roof, envelope, mechanical, electrical and finish, plus the tie-in work where new meets existing.
ADU / Guest House
An accessory dwelling unit (ADU) is a complete second home on your lot — a detached backyard cottage, a garage conversion or a basement apartment with its own kitchen, bath and entry. Detached units carry their own foundation, roof and utility runs; conversions reuse the shell and cost less.
Whole-Home Remodel
A whole-home remodel touches every room: kitchen, baths, flooring, trim, paint, lighting and usually some mix of windows, mechanical and electrical upgrades. Many also open up the main floor, which brings structural work and permits into the scope.
New Custom Home
A new custom home is a ground-up build on your lot: design, engineering, permits, foundation, framing, envelope, roofing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and finish, through final inspection. Land, design and permit fees, utility connections and unusual soils are priced separately.
Deck, Pergola or Covered Patio
A deck, pergola or covered patio extends the house outdoors — framed and footed structures that have to shed water, carry snow where it falls and pass the same inspections as the house. Composite decking, steel or cable rail, roofing and lighting move the price well beyond a basic treated-lumber platform.
Ductless Mini-Split (Single Zone)
A single-zone ductless mini-split pairs one outdoor heat pump with one indoor head to heat and cool a room, addition or shop without ductwork. Installed prices are fixed packages — Good, Better and Best equipment tiers from IDB HVAC Solutions — with adders only for things like a new circuit, a condensate pump or a rooftop unit.
Water Heater Replacement
A tank water heater replacement swaps a 40–75 gallon gas, propane or electric tank, brings the venting, pan, expansion tank and seismic strapping up to current code, and hauls the old unit away. IDB Plumbing Solutions prices these as fixed installed packages.
