Bellevue New Construction
A ground-up modern farmhouse in Bellevue, built where a worn-out rambler once stood — board-and-batten siding, a standing-seam metal porch roof, and a glass-panel garage door outside; inside, a dramatic black-slat feature wall with an open-riser steel stair and cable rail, wide-plank white-oak floors, a designer kitchen with brass fixtures, a glass-enclosed LED-lit wine display, marble primary bath with a black herringbone double shower, a Hollywood-style makeup vanity, home theater, rec room, and office — all opening to a fully fenced, freshly landscaped backyard through a wall of glass.

The challenge
The centerpiece is the double-height stair and slat wall — steel stringers, open treads, and cable rail all had to land within tight tolerances against the glazing behind it. Framing, steel, and finish carpentry were sequenced in-house so the stair reads as one continuous sculptural piece against the glass.
