Coeur d'Alene Pavilion
A timber-frame backyard pavilion in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho — heavy cedar posts anchored to a stamped-concrete patio around an existing stone fire pit, with site-built gable trusses and exposed rafters framing an open-air gathering space by the pool.
On-site
The challenge
Building a full gable roof over an existing patio means every post lands exactly where the slab allows — no over-pour, no second chances. We anchored to the stamped concrete with structural hardware, kept the stone fire pit centered under the ridge, and raised site-built trusses across the span without disturbing the finished hardscape below.
